Jerry, our transmission went out of our big van and Anita's van is out of commission, it died and I don't know what is wrong with it....Looks like we're not going to make it this time. I just hope we can get our van fixed to make it to the big meet. Sorry everyone. BD _________________ NAFC Life Member

Hello,everyone
We will be gathering at the Cheshire boat ramp For those using map quest use the address for Cheshire Market at 5094 Cheshire Rd. Galena,Ohio 43021. The ramp is just north of Cheshire Market about 1/8 mile on the left. This market is also a bait shop, snacks and drinks. They have good pizza and subs. They sell minnows, worms and other baits. After the fishing is done we will be getting together at the Alum Creek State Park Campground, 2911 S. Old State Road, Delaware, Ohio 43015, Tel: (740) 548-4631 (about 5 minutes from the Cheshire boat ramp and just across the bridge from the Cheshire Market). We will be gathering at site B25 for a fish fry or pizza party. Please come join us for eats and telling stories about that the one that got away or not. When coming into the park there is a huge parking lot at the entrance and site B25 is a short walk. Guests are permitted until about 10:00pm or you can reserve your own site if you wish to stay the night.
Thanks,
Tom |

Thanks Larry, It was a fun day. Well except for maybe the 5 inches of rain. Maybe the next one we will get a better turnout from the club. The fish fry was sure good though. Yum!!! |

| Yes it was. The fish went straight from the fillet knives to the deep fryer. As my fishing partner says instead of catch and release we were practicing catch and grease. |

For those interested , the turnout for the tournament was kinda low. I am sure the thunderstorms did not help with that. The teams finished in this order:
First place : Malone and FFFisch
Second place: River and Demo
Third place : Tom and Mitchelle
Fourth place: Larry and Ray
Fifth place: Eric and wife
Richard Solo came later, but his partner was not able to make it. With 3 thunderstorms and fishing in a canoe Richard left early.
River won the big fish prize
Even with the really rough weather there was plenty of fish caught for big ole fish fry.
Mitchelle will be posting some pictures soon. |
